Warning: appsformycar.co.nz is selling an unauthorized copy of this software. Do not install it — it can brick your car.
We have discovered that appsformycar.co.nz has copied our code and intellectual property and is now reselling it as their own work.
They copied a lot — but not everything. Their version is incomplete, untested, and unsafe. Because this software sends low-level commands to your vehicle, an incorrect or outdated copy can brick your head unit or leave your car in an unsafe state.
- Incomplete stolen copy: missing safety checks, fixes, and firmware-specific handling from the genuine app.
- Real risk of bricking: a bad write or wrong vehicle command can disable your infotainment system or worse — recovery may require a costly dealer visit (head unit replacement is $5k+). Moreover, if you brick your head unit, they won't be able to help. We're the only ones who can help restore bricked head units!
- No updates, no support: copycats can't provide genuine updates or help if something goes wrong. You are on your own.
The risk of bricking your car is simply not worth it.
